Antiparos (from Greek Αντίπαρος) belongs to the Cyclades archipelago and is 3 nautical miles from Parikia, the port of Paros, and only half a nautical mile from Pounta, the nearest promontory of Paros. The island can only be reached by sea.

It has an area of 35 km² and about 1,000 inhabitants.

Antiparos is hilly, rich in orchards on the coast, and rocky and barren inland.

The capital of the island is Antiparos, where the main port is also located.

In recent years, it has developed its own tourism and is no longer just a day-trip destination for tourists from Paros. The island offers a vacation for families seeking tranquility and a beautiful sea, but in the evening it comes alive with plenty of opportunities for entertainment and sports. For nudism enthusiasts, it is the right place as it is well tolerated.

The island's sea is very clear, and its beaches are highly appreciated.

In Antiparos, there is practically only one road on the east side, which is also used by buses that service the various beaches and the famous stalactite cave. However, vehicle circulation is practically prohibited in the capital. The island has a car/scooter rental service but no taxi service.
