Best beaches of Chios

The beaches of Chios are around fifty in number, often featuring round pebbles, mainly concentrated in the south of the island and catering to all tastes: both equipped and secluded. Below is a list of the most well-known beaches, starting from Chora and imagining touring the island clockwise.

Karfas
Located just south of the capital, it is a sandy, equipped, very crowded beach with clean, warm, shallow waters. Water sports can be practiced here.

Megas Limnionas
A sandy and pebbly beach, sheltered, surrounded by rocks, with calm waters in a well-equipped tourist area.
