The beaches of Anafi are very beautiful, sandy, and sheltered. The best ones are located to the south and can also be reached by land with a path that starts from the port. Here are the main ones, starting from Aghios Nikolaos and moving east.
Aghios Nikolaos
Beautiful sandy beach, very close to the port, not equipped.
Klissidi
Large sandy beach, with some vegetation, quite frequented, with a beautiful blue sea.
Katsouni
Pebble beach, quiet, with a freshwater spring, not equipped.
Flamourou
Small secluded beach, also reachable by land, with very clear water.
Mikro and Megalos Roukounas
Sandy, sheltered beaches, cool, with natural shade, equipped, frequented by nudists. Many people camp freely in the area.
Katalimatsa
Protected beach, located in the area of the ancient port of the island and close to a small archaeological site.
Megas Potamos
Pebble beach reachable only by sea.
Aghios Anargyri
Beautiful beach of reddish sand and pebbles, surrounded by rocks, quiet, unspoiled, with a beautiful crystal-clear sea. Also reachable on foot, it is enhanced by a small white church that overlooks it from one side.
Ormos Prasies
Large, sheltered sandy beach, with a small green area behind it that leads to the Monastery of Panaghia Kalamiotissa (1 hour and a half).
