How to get to Kythnos?

Kythnos is accessible only by sea, with limited frequency. The main connections are from Piraeus (3 hours) and Lavrio (2.5 hours). The island is also connected to nearby Kea (1.5 hours) and other Cyclades: Serifos (1 hour 20 minutes), Syros (2 hours 15 minutes), Sifnos (2 hours 20 minutes), and Milos (4 hours).

Ferry companies operating include Zante Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, and Sea Jets. For booking, refer to directferries.com.

Kythnos does not have an airport. The closest is Athens International Airport; Lavrio port is about a 40-minute drive from there. For flight booking, visit skyscanner.com.

Sea connections are much more frequent during the summer season; always check availability if travelling in other periods.
