Antikythera is a remote island connected by ferry to the port of Piraeus (11 hours, arriving at the port of Potamos). It can also be reached from the Peloponnese via Githio (5 hours) or Neapolis (4.5 hours), from Crete (2 hours 15 minutes from Kissamos), and from the island of Kythira (2 hours).
The main operating company is LANE Lines. For booking and tickets online, refer to directferries.com.
The island does not have an airport. The most convenient route is to fly to Crete (Chania) or to Kythira and continue by ferry.
Connections are more frequent during the summer season; always check route availability if travelling in other periods.
