How to get to Gyali?

Gyali is not connected by regular ferry or boat lines to nearby Kos or Nisyros.

To reach it, you need to take a day trip (for example, from the port of Mandraki on Nisyros) or use a private boat. In the latter case, a specific permit must be obtained from the mining agency operating on the island.
