Best beaches of Kassos

The beaches of Kassos are very few and generally consist of pebbles or stones. Some rocky beaches are ideal for diving enthusiasts and are not always accessible by land. Here are the main ones, starting from the port and touring the island clockwise.

Emborios
Beautiful sandy beach, equipped, popular, and with clear sea. Easily accessible on foot from the port.

Helatros
Sandy and pebble beach, remote, enclosed between rocks and therefore sheltered, sunny, partially equipped, and with clear sea. A good spot for diving and windsurfing. Accessible by land with about 13 kilometers of paved road.

Avlaki
Pebble beach, quiet, isolated, and with shallow clear sea. Accessible on foot from the monastery of Chadies.

Fokiokamara
Series of three pebble beaches with clear sea. Accessible by land with the road or on foot from the port.

Antiperatos
Pebble beach, quiet, and with blue sea. Accessible by road from Agios Marina.

Agios Konstantinos (Ammoua)
Sandy and pebble beach, partially equipped, panoramic, quiet, and with blue sea. Accessible by road from Agios Marina.

Kimatothraustis
Rocky beach located within the port, to the north, with blue and very clear sea.
