Kastellorizo (Megisti), Greece's easternmost island, can be reached by ferry from the port of Piraeus (about 23 hours) or from Rhodes (4 hours). It is also accessible from Kas on the Turkish coast (20 minutes). Most ferries make stops at major Dodecanese islands along the route.
The main ferry companies are Dodekanisos Seaways, Blue Star Ferries, ANES Symi Lines, and Meis Express. For booking, refer to directferries.com.
Kastellorizo has a small domestic airport with flights from Rhodes (40 minutes) via Olympic Air. The fastest route from abroad is to fly to Rhodes (connected to Athens and many European cities) and continue by ferry or domestic flight. For flight booking, visit skyscanner.com.
Connections, both by sea and air, are more frequent during the summer season; always check availability if travelling in other periods.
