How to get to Agathonisi?

Agathonisi is a remote island in the Dodecanese, reachable only by sea. Ferry and boat connections operate from Patmos (2 hours), Samos (1 hour), Kos (2.5 hours), Kalymnos (2 hours), Leros (1 hour 10 minutes), Lipsi (35 minutes), Rhodes (5 hours), and Symi (4 hours). Fast boats also serve the island in addition to standard ferries.

The main ferry companies operating are A.N.E. Kalymnou, Dodekanisos Seaways, and the motorboat Anna Express. For booking and purchasing tickets online, refer to directferries.com.

The easiest way to reach Agathonisi is to fly to Kos, Samos, or Rhodes (all well connected to Athens and many European cities) and then continue by sea.

Sea connections are much more frequent during the summer season; always check route availability if travelling in other periods.
