Best beaches of Samotracia

Many of the beaches in Samothrace are accessible only by sea. The island is surrounded by generally dark pebble beaches. Below are the most well-known ones, starting from the maritime dock and imagining touring the island clockwise.

Paleopolis
Rocky beach not ideal for swimming.

Kipos
Beautiful beach located at the extreme southeast of the island.

Vatos
Sandy beach characterized by the presence of rocks and caves and a truly crystal-clear sea. Accessible only by sea.

Ammos
The most beautiful sandy beach on the island, secluded and reachable after several kilometers of dirt road.
