Andros is connected to the mainland by ferry lines from the port of Rafina (about 2 hours), which is located near Athens. The island is also linked to the Cyclades, particularly Tinos (1.5 hours) and Mykonos (2 hours 20 minutes).
Several companies operate on these routes, including Golden Star Ferries, Blue Star Ferries, and Cyclades Fast Ferries. For booking and tickets online, refer to directferries.com.
Andros does not have an airport. The fastest way to reach it is to fly to Athens (and transfer to Rafina port) or to Mykonos (connected to many European cities in summer) and then continue by ferry.
Connections to the island are much more frequent during the summer season; always check route availability if travelling in other periods.
