How to get to Folegandros?

Folegandros is connected to the mainland by ferry lines from the port of Piraeus (6.5 hours by ferry, 3.5 hours by hydrofoil). The island can also be reached from Milos (1.5 hours), Paros (4.5 hours), Naxos (3.5 hours), Sikinos (40 minutes), Ios (1.5 hours), and Santorini (2 hours), as well as less frequently from Crete and the Dodecanese.

Among the ferry companies operating are Blue Star Ferries, Zante Ferries, Sea Jets, Aegean Speed Lines, and Hellenic Seaways. For booking, refer to directferries.com.

Folegandros does not have an airport. The fastest way to reach it is to fly to Santorini (connected to Athens and many European cities) and then take the ferry (2 hours by ferry or 1 hour by hydrofoil).

Connections are much more frequent during the summer season; always check route availability if travelling in other periods.
