Kimolos is accessible only by sea. The most frequent connection is from nearby Milos (Pollonia port, 20 minutes by the "Panagia Faneromeni" ferry). The island is also connected to Piraeus (5–8 hours), Sifnos (1 hour), Serifos (2 hours), Syros (5 hours 40 minutes), Paros (4 hours), Folegandros, Santorini, and Kythnos.
The main ferry companies are Hellenic Seaways, Zante Ferries, and Sea Jets. For booking, refer to directferries.com.
Kimolos does not have an airport. The fastest route is to fly to Milos (domestic flights from Athens) and take the short ferry from Pollonia.
Connections are much more frequent during the summer season; always check availability if travelling in other periods.
