How to get to Kalamos?

Kalamos is connected by ferry from Mytikas on the Greek mainland. Crossings run to Episkopi (10 minutes) and then to Kalamos (another 25 minutes), or directly from Mytikas to Kalamos (20 minutes). The island can also be reached from nearby Kastos (20 minutes). Tickets are not required to be booked in advance.

The closest airport is Aktion/Preveza, which has seasonal European connections and can be reached from Athens. From there, drive south to Mytikas (about 1.5 hours).

Connections are more frequent during the summer season; always check availability if travelling in other periods.
