Best beaches of Meganisi

The beaches of Meganisi, not always accessible by land, are not sandy but certainly unspoiled, lightly frequented, and have beautiful, very clear sea. Below are the main beaches, starting from the port of Vathy and touring the island clockwise.

Pasoumaki
Small gravel beach, with natural shade, not equipped, clear sea, and a beautiful view of the islands of Skorpios and Lefkada.

Ambelaki
Gravel and rock beach, surrounded by greenery, sheltered, very picturesque, frequented by boats, and also accessible on foot from Vathy.

Fanari
Sandy and gravel beach, sheltered, picturesque, panoramic, partially equipped, and with beautiful shallow sea. Also accessible by land via a dirt road.

Karakofolia
Beach accessible by a path from Fanari, not equipped.

Barbarezou
Long pebble beach, secluded, usually reached by sea, surrounded by pines, and with a beautiful clear sea.

Elia
Beautiful gravel and stone beach, narrow, not equipped, sunny, frequented by boats, and easily accessible.

Limonari
Beautiful pebble beach, not equipped, sunny, easily accessible, and with a beautiful colorful sea.

Agios Ioannis
Long and narrow pebble beach with natural shade, not equipped, easily accessible, and with a panoramic view of Lefkada.

Spilia
Beautiful white pebble beach, equipped, with natural shade, clear and deep sea. From the beach, it is possible to climb up to Spartochori via a steep path.

Herniades
Small gravel beach, sunny, not equipped, quiet, very picturesque, and preferably accessible by sea.
