How to get to Karpathos?

Karpathos is connected by ferry to the port of Piraeus (16–21 hours), arriving at the port of Pigadia (many ferries also stop at Diafani). The island can also be reached from Rhodes (5 hours), Kassos (2 hours), Crete (8.5 hours), and some Cyclades. Most ferries make stops at major islands along the route.

The main ferry companies are Anek Lines and Blue Star Ferries. For booking, refer to directferries.com.

Karpathos has Amoopi Airport with flights from Athens (1 hour 20 minutes), Kassos (15 minutes), and Rhodes (40 minutes) via Olympic Air or Aegean Airlines. In summer, charter flights connect the island to several European destinations. For flight booking, visit skyscanner.com.

Connections, both by sea and air, are more frequent during the summer season; always check availability if travelling in other periods.
