How to get to Nisyros?

Nisyros is connected by ferry to the port of Piraeus (about 14 hours), arriving at the port of Mandraki. The island can also be reached from almost all Dodecanese islands: Kos (1–2 hours), Tilos (1 hour), Symi (3 hours), Astypalea (5.5 hours), and Rhodes (3–5 hours). Most ferries make stops at major islands along the route.

The main ferry companies are Dodekanisos Seaways and Blue Star Ferries. For booking, refer to directferries.com.

Nisyros does not have an airport. The fastest way to reach it is to fly to Kos (connected to Athens and many European cities) and take the short ferry (1–2 hours).

Connections are more frequent during the summer season; always check availability if travelling in other periods.
