Angistri or Agistri (from the Greek Αγκίστρι) is a small island in the Argosaronic Gulf located west of Aegina (3 nautical miles) and nicknamed by the Greeks "island of pines". It is reachable only by sea and is 22 nautical miles from Piraeus.

It has an area of 13 km² and about 1000 inhabitants.

The island is hilly and is characterized by being completely covered by forests of pine and cypress trees, some of which are centuries-old. The sea is transparent and emerald green. Its inhabitants are mainly engaged in agriculture and tourism. Among the typical products are green olives, capers, and pine honey.

The capital is Megalochori (or Mylos), where there is the secondary port, while the main port of the island is located in Skala, not far away.

The island is quiet and off the common tourist routes although in summer it is very popular, especially among Greeks, for its picturesque beaches and proximity to the mainland.

The island's road network is limited but connects the main towns and beaches. There is a service of small local buses, taxis, and car and scooter rentals. Due to its size, the island can easily be explored by bicycle.
