Euboea (Evia) can be reached both by sea and by land. The island has several ports with connections from the Sporades and the mainland: Skyros–Kimi (1 hour 40 minutes), Rafina–Marmari (1.5 hours), Agia Marina–Stira (45 minutes), Oropos–Eretria (30 minutes), Arkitsa–Edipsos (45 minutes), Glyfa–Agiokambos (25 minutes).
The main ferry companies are Skyros Shipping Company and J/V Stiron-Agias Marinas. Euboea is also reachable by bus from Athens (about 1 hour from the airport) and Thessaloniki, and by train from Athens (1 hour).
