How to get to Skyros?

Skyros is one of the more difficult Sporades islands to reach, which helps preserve its tranquil character. The island is accessible by sea from Kymi on Euboea (about 2 hours), and also from Agios Konstantinos and Volos (2–3 hours). In summer, connections also operate from Alonissos and Skopelos. From Athens, you can take a bus to Kymi.

For ferry tickets, visit the Skyros Shipping website (sne.gr) or directferries.com.

Skyros has a small domestic airport with flights from Athens and Thessaloniki. For flight booking, visit skyscanner.com.

Sea connections are more frequent during the summer season; always check availability if travelling in other periods.
