Aghios Kirikos
The capital is mainly composed of two-story houses with flowered balconies. Here you will also find the island's main port. Visit the church of Aghios Kirikos and the archaeological-folklore museum.

Large village with the island's second port and some beautiful neoclassical houses.
Therma
A thermal locality famous for its radium-rich waters, useful for rheumatism and arthritis, as well as a necropolis found nearby.

Located near the village of Kosikia, it is a Byzantine castle from the 10th century.
Drakanos Tower
Located on a hill in the north of the island, near Fanari, it is a circular Byzantine construction from the 3rd century BC. In the area, there are also the ruins of a classical acropolis.
Boat trip to the fishing islets
A pleasant trip to the nearby islets of Fourni, Aghios Minas, and Thimena with beautiful sandy bays. Fourni is the largest and is mainly inhabited by fishermen.
Independence Day celebration
On July 17th, the island celebrates liberation from the Turks and wild goat is eaten.

A large religious festival on August 15th (for 3 days) on the islet of Fourni.
