Best beaches of Psara

The beautiful beaches of Psara are perfect for tourists who love clear waters but also solitude and tranquility (even in high season). They are both sandy and pebbly, small and large, all accessible on foot or by caique from the port and almost always deserted. The most beautiful ones are located in the northeast of the island. Below is a list of the most well-known beaches, starting from the port and imagining a clockwise tour of the island.

Kato Gialos
A gravel beach with clear water, picturesque due to the presence of a white church and the beautiful view of the islet of Antipsara.

Lakka
A beautiful white sandy beach, large, with clear water.

Archontiki
Located just beyond Lakka, a beach of sand and gravel with clear water and a small islet in front.

Aghios Dimitros
A pebbly beach with some wind turbines behind it.

Ftelio
A beautiful and long beach of sand and gravel, particularly quiet.

Limnos
A beautiful beach of sand and pebbles, located in front of the port and with a distant view of the islet of Antipsara.

Lazaretta
A beautiful beach of sand and pebbles with shallow water.

Katsouni
