How to get to Thassos?

Thassos can only be reached by sea, from Kavala (ferry/hydrofoil, 1.5 hours), Nea Peramos (ferry to Skala Prinou), or Keramoti (ferry/hydrofoil, 45 minutes). Keramoti has frequent departures and a fast boarding process; tickets are purchased directly at the dock. For schedules and prices, visit thassos-ferries.gr.

Thassos does not have an airport. The closest is Megas Alexandros Airport in Kavala (16 km from Keramoti). However, Thessaloniki Airport (connected to many European cities year-round) is often a better option, from which you can drive to Kavala or Keramoti.
