As in all Greek islands, the main vacation accommodations are studios , which are small apartments (often one-room or two-room units) equipped with a kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom. These are usually family-run and often reasonably priced. The owners of the studios are generally very helpful and friendly, as are the island's inhabitants, providing an economical yet suitable accommodation for a typical vacation on a Greek island.
The island also has several hotel s and a campground located on the inner part of the bay in the Achivadolimni area.
The main centers where you can stay are Adamas, Plaka, Pollonia, Klima, and Mandrakia. Milos does not yet have luxurious hotel s or large resorts; the island is suited to tourists who enjoy discovering enchanting places during the day and maybe in the evening taking a stroll through the white and blue alleys of the capital after watching the sunset from the top of a hill. Over the years, and thanks to various word-of-mouth recommendations, the beautiful Milos has also been "discovered" by tourism, and sometimes the island's accommodations cannot meet all the demands: book early!
Adamas
Adamas is the village where the island's main activities are concentrated: from sea excursions, commerce, museums, and evening entertainment to dining. It's suitable for those who love having a bit of everything within reach once they arrive on the island.

It is the capital of the island, situated on a hill about 200 meters high. Its location and typical Cycladic architecture make it a very picturesque place: highly panoramic and romantic.
