How to get to Schinoussa?

Schinoussa is one of the Small Cyclades, accessible only by sea. The main connection is from nearby Naxos (1 hour 20 minutes). The island can also be reached from Amorgos (1.5 hours) and the other Small Cyclades: Koufonissi (30 minutes) and Iraklia (5 minutes). From Piraeus, the ferry takes about 7.5 hours.

Among the ferry companies operating are Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, and Express Skopelitis (connecting Naxos to Amorgos via the Small Cyclades). For booking, refer to directferries.com.

The island does not have an airport. The fastest route is to fly to Naxos (domestic flights from Athens) or Mykonos/Paros (European connections in summer) and continue by ferry.

Sea connections are much more frequent during the summer season; always check availability if travelling in other periods.
