As in all Greek islands, the main accommodations for holidays are studios, which are small apartments (often one or two rooms), equipped with a kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom, usually run by families and often at a good price. The managers of the studios are generally very helpful and friendly, as are the inhabitants, and they provide economical accommodations that are well-suited to the typical needs of a holiday on a Greek island.
The island of Syros is not very touristy, but you can still find a variety of accommodations, including hotel s and residences, especially in the central-southern part of the island. In Syros, there are also two campsites located in Galissas.
