As with all Greek islands, the main accommodations for vacations are studios, which are small apartments (often one or two rooms), equipped with a kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom, usually run by families and often at a good price. The managers of the studios are generally very helpful and friendly, as are the locals, and they provide economical accommodation that is still suitable for the typical needs of a vacation on a Greek island.
The island of Tinos is not particularly touristy, except during the periods of religious pilgrimages, but you can find several hotel s. There is also a campsite at Aghios Fokas.
