Tinos is connected by ferry and hydrofoil to Piraeus (3.5–5 hours), Rafina (2–4 hours), and in summer Lavrio (4 hours). The island is also linked to several Cyclades: Andros (1.5 hours), Syros (30 minutes), Mykonos (30 minutes), and Santorini (2.5 hours).
The main ferry companies are Blue Star Ferries, Golden Star Ferries, Sea Jets, and Cyclades Fast Ferries. For booking, refer to directferries.com.
Tinos does not have an airport. The fastest way to reach it is to fly to Mykonos (connected to Athens and many European cities) or Syros and take the short ferry (30 minutes). For flight booking, visit skyscanner.com.
Connections are much more frequent during the summer season; always check availability if travelling in other periods.
