Best beaches of Lefkada

The beaches of Lefkada are easily accessible via the coastal road that circles the island. The western area is quite wild, and its very long beaches are bordered by light rocks and a very clean and colorful sea. The part facing the mainland, on the other hand, is more sheltered, and its beaches are smaller and greener. Below is a list of the main beaches starting from the capital and going around the island clockwise.

Dessimi
Located south of Nidri towards the village of Geni, it is a small and narrow gravel beach with a beautiful transparent sea and a nearby sea cave.
