Best beaches of Paxos

The sandy or pebbly beaches of Paxos are concentrated in the north of the island, while in the south there are those with stone slabs and rocks. To reach some of them, you can use the caiques that depart from the port of Gaios. The sea of Paxos is very clean and beautiful. Below are the main beaches, starting from the port and going around the island clockwise.

Plakes
A small, very beautiful, unorganized pebble beach, rich in vegetation and flat rocks. Its sea is beautiful and the seabed is rich in fish. It can also be reached on foot from the port of Gaios.

Mogonissi
One of the few sandy beaches on Paxos, small, equipped, with natural shade, sheltered, and with a beautiful clear sea. It is possible to practice water sports.

Galazio
A beautiful beach with a truly crystal-clear sea, accessible only by boat.

Erimitis
A recently formed beach created in 2008 due to a landslide. It is located near the village of Magazia and is a white pebble beach, nestled between high cliffs. It can be reached on foot and is a great place to admire the sunset.

Orkos
A beautiful white pebble beach framed by vegetation. Reachable on foot with a 10-minute path or by sea.

Lakkos
Located near Lakka, it is a beautiful pebble beach rich in vegetation.

Monodendri
The only fully equipped beach where various water sports can be practiced. It is large, pebbly, with natural shade, a beautiful, very clear sea, and perfect for swimming.

Logos
A beach of very white pebbles and sand, often crowded because it is very close to the port of Logos, unorganized, and with a very clear sea.

Levrehio
A small but charming white pebble beach, with crystal-clear water, shallow seabed, natural shade, often crowded. It can be reached on foot in 5 minutes from the beach of Logos.

Marmari
A delightful white pebble beach, with very clear and colorful water, a shallow seabed, natural shade, unorganized. It can be reached on foot in 5 minutes from the beach of Levrehio.

Kipiadi
Kipiadi is the longest beach on the island, with large pebbles, turquoise sea, surrounded by greenery, and recently accessible by land. It is not equipped at all and is not very crowded.
