Best beaches of Chalki

The beaches of Chalki are small, almost never sandy, quiet, with crystal-clear and very blue sea. Generally, it is convenient to reach them by sea, but for some, a walk or the local minibus is enough. I list the main ones starting from the port and going around the island clockwise.

Nimborio
To swim in the beautiful transparent sea of the village, there are some ladders because there is no beach of any kind.

Ftenagia
A small pebble beach, frequented, partially equipped, with a beautiful transparent sea. It can be reached on foot in a quarter of an hour from the port or by the local minibus.

Pontamos
A beautiful sandy beach, equipped, frequented, sheltered, with shallow and crystal-clear sea. It can be reached on foot from the port in 10 minutes. A small seaside church adorns the environment.

Trachia
A pair of pebble beaches on both sides of a promontory, quiet, wild, sheltered, with a transparent sea perfect for snorkeling. It can be reached either by sea or in 20 minutes on foot from Palio Chorio.

Yali
Yali is a small, secluded pebble beach with natural shade, windy, and with crystal-clear sea. It can be reached on foot in half an hour from Palio Chorio or by sea.

Areta
A wild, quiet pebble beach with very clear, colorful, deep sea suitable for snorkeling. It is surrounded by high rocky walls and is accessible exclusively by sea.

Kania
A small, organized pebble beach with some natural shade, wild, and with transparent sea. It can be reached on foot from the port in about half an hour or by the local minibus.
